    To round out your experiment, I recommend following your 2 weeks of 5 hours per night with 2 weeks of 8 hours per night. During the entire test period, make journal entries at the beginning and the end of the day. I’d also recommend having other people rate your mood and mental acuity at the beginning of the experiment and at designated points while ongoing. 

    If you’re sleeping very little, your diminishing mental capacity will make it difficult to judge exactly how deficient you have become.
